TEMPERAMENT: Temperament is the most important characteristic of the Labrador Retriever. At the time of sale, all puppies have been evaluated as having a sound temperament. Furthermore, the BUYER agrees to surrender the dog and sign the necessary papers to transfer sole ownership of the dog to the SELLER without any right of refund or any other monetary consideration. If said puppy has not attended obedience school as well as puppy kindergarten, this contract is null and void regarding temperament. It is important that the puppy learns who is the boss and how to socialize with other puppies/dogs as well as people.
DYSPLASIA: Studies have shown that early neutoring and spaying increases the chances for hip dysplasia as growth plates do not close until dogs are two years old. SELLER recommends that pups should not be neutored or spayed before the age of two years old.: SELLER offers no explicit guarantees against hip or elbow dysplasia. However, if said dog becomes disabled by hip or elbow dysplasia before the age of 12 months old due to a genetic defect in the hip or elbow and has to be euthanized, SELLER will replace the dog with one of equal value. There are NO cash refunds. SELLER requires BUYER to submit xrays to the ORTHOPEDIC FOUNDATION FOR ANIMALS.
